Brotherhood

Our Fraternity is one of Brotherhood and tradition. We pride ourselves on loyalty and dedication to our brothers. For over 100 years AKPsi has been committed to America's business leaders by instilling the ideals set forth by our founding fathers: brotherhood, knowledge, integrity, service, and unity.

Professionalism

Alpha Kappa Psi is the nation's oldest and most prestigious professional business fraternity. The men and women of AKPsi are among the best and brightest business students, and we pride ourselves on honing our professional mindset through interaction with people focused on becoming business and world leaders. Our Brotherhood is comprised of all areas of business education, so we learn from a wide variety of businesses through corporate tours, professional speakers, resume and interviewing workshops, and involvement in professional organizations.

Real world experience counts for a lot too. Fundraising and community service efforts add to our business experience outside of our jobs and internships. Nu Chi's relationship with Central Florida businesses and chambers of commerce give us the ability to find job opportunities that don't appear on company websites. Also, so many professionals have been impressed with Brothers from Nu Chi, that they frequently request resumes from the chapter and are eager to council us on our career tracks.

Involvement

AKPsi’s Brothers also give our allegiances to our alma maters. As students, Brothers are expected to excel in academics, be involved in other student organizations, and the direction of the college of business and university. As alumni, we are expected to support the university and college of business with resources to better the programs. We have a higher GPA than the average UCF business student, and make classes easier on ourselves by forming groups for studying and class group projects. Nu Chi Brothers are involved in many organizations throughout campus, including the President’s Leadership Council, UCF Orientation Team, Student Government Association, and several national business competitions.
