Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on the professional development of its brothers by interacting with major corporations, small businesses and professional organizations in Central Florida. As well as focusing on professionalism, Alpha Kappa Psi prides itself on its contribution to the community as well as Fundraising opportunities. We do this by taking tours of corporations, bringing professional speakers to campus, and coordinating networking functions as well as fundraising and community service events.

Business and career tips weren’t the only thing Washington Mutual was eager to share, but we also got a thorough lesson on how to create and stick to a manageable personal budget – now that’s a service! |
Backstage MagicEver wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the Magic game? AKPsi toured the TD Waterhouse Centre and got the backstage pass to player locker rooms, game day operations, and the executive offices as well as the work that goes into marketing events at the downtown arena. |
Community Service
Relay For LifeAlpha Kappa Psi is extremely involved in the American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for Life event at UCF. Every year we spend many nights preparing for Relay for Life in the Spring. We’ve raised well over $2800 for cancer research and in 2004 won “Best Site” for student organizations. AKPsi alumni have been responsible for organizing the events as well as several committees for the past two years. |
Ronald McDonald House CharitiesThe Ronald McDonald House (named after Ronald McDonald) is a place where parents of children that are in a hospital can stay at night. We help to prepare dinner, as well as clean up the Ronald McDonald House in Orlando |
